OUR APPROACH
state-licensed birth center supporting autonomy & informed consent from the prenatal period to birth & beyond
gynecological care
GYN visits are available starting from puberty & continuing through menopause. We have amazing affiliate nurse midwives who specialize in gynecological health. At this visit we will do a physical exam including a breast exam, discuss lifestyle choices, nutrition, vitamin supplementation, exercise, mental & emotional wellness & reproductive systems including family planning options. We can perform pap-smears, run hormones/thyroid panel, check Vitamin-D levels, remove/place IUDs, ect. We are able to provide a superbill for most major insurance providers & most often GYN exams are covered %100 of the time. Our out of pocket cost is $175 plus lab costs.
pre-conception
Preconception visits are available for anyone planning on, or trying to conceive. At this visit we will discuss lifestyle choices, nutrition, vitamin supplementation, exercise & optimizing your chances for conception. We can perform some of the pre-pregnancy lab work such as a pap smear, your Vitamin D & thyroid levels (if desired) and help you prepare for pregnancy issues such as morning sickness. The cost of this visit is $200 plus labs & if you conceive within one year of the appointment and begin care with us we will apply $100 of this to your midwifery fee. Its all part of our commitment to help babies grow!

We are a state-licensed, free-standing birth center that offers a uniquely personalized experience. We limit the number of clients we take each month so that you get all the time and attention you deserve at your appointments, on your baby's birth day & beyond. Informed consent & autonomy are the foundation of all we do as we provide all the care you need from conception to birth & beyond.

At Born we are committed to providing the best prenatal, birth & postpartum care from 10 weeks gestation until up to 6 months postpartum. We provide both home birth & birth center birthing options. All appointments & lab work are done in our office & referrals for ultrasounds are given with our collaborating physicians.
